The Preferential System and How To Vote
You are being asked to number 10 boxes for each candidate running for the seat of Warringah in the upcoming election. Voting 1 to 10 in an order that you want or my suggested How to Vote (HTV), this preferential system is less likely to ‘split the vote’ as the lowest polling candidates are knocked out one by one.
If I’m not elected, then your vote is not 'wasted', and will go to your next preferred candidate or mine suggested on the HTV.
I placed No. 2 as Mr Dean Harris (Labor), and No. 3, Ms Krysten Glanville (Greens) for a reason, which I want to explain.
As an Independent, I fully believe that I would make a good representative for Warringah, the other people who I admire and believe would best represent our electorate who have a strong broad overview of what is needed locally, who are of solid characters and values, and would best represent us, are Dean and Krysten.
At the national level whoever makes up our new government, both these two parties, Labor and Greens have the ability to step it up.
I wish all candidates well.
